Terms of Service
The ground rules for using this website. They are deliberately short, and they do not replace whatever we agree with you in writing when we actually come and collect something.

Who these terms are from
This website is published by HCAS Resources Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India, with its registered office at Khasra No. 63, 64, Hapur Road, Industrial Area, Peepli Khera, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh 245206, India, holding GSTIN 09AAHCH3508A1ZZ.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean HCAS Resources Private Limited; “the site” means the website at hcasresources.com; and “you” means the person using it, and the organisation on whose behalf they are using it.
Acceptance and scope
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms govern your use of this website and nothing else. They are not the contract for any collection, transport, buy-back, dismantling or recycling work. Any such work is governed by a separate written agreement, work order, purchase order or quotation confirmed between us, together with the documentation issued at the time of collection.
If anything in these terms conflicts with such a separate written agreement, that agreement prevails for the work it covers.
The content here is general information
Everything published here — descriptions of our services, the materials we accept, the way we work, our facilities, timelines, service areas and capabilities — is general information about what we do. It is written to help you decide whether to talk to us.
It is indicative and not a representation, warranty or promise about your particular site, your particular load or your particular timeline. What we can actually do for you depends on the material, the location, access, volume and scheduling, and is settled in correspondence rather than on a web page.
Regulatory information is not legal advice
Any information on this site about e-waste regulation — including extended producer responsibility, the duties of producers, bulk consumers, dismantlers and recyclers, record-keeping, authorisations, returns or filings — is general information only. It is not legal, regulatory, tax or professional advice, and no advisory relationship arises from your reading it.
Rules change, and how they apply turns on facts we do not know about you. Nothing here is a substitute for reading the applicable rules as currently in force or taking advice on your own circumstances from a qualified adviser.
Your compliance obligations remain yours. Engaging us to collect or recycle material does not transfer them to us, although we will provide the documentation described in the agreement for that work. Please do not act, or decide not to act, on the strength of anything on this site without confirming the current position independently.
An enquiry does not create a contract
Submitting the enquiry form, emailing us or speaking to us on the telephone does not create a contract, and places no obligation on either of us.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. An enquiry is an invitation to discuss; our reply to it is part of the same discussion. No collection is booked, no price is agreed and no service is committed until:
- we have confirmed the scope, price, dates and terms in writing (email is sufficient); and
- you have confirmed your acceptance of them in writing.
Until both of those have happened, either of us may end the conversation at any point without liability to the other. We may decline any enquiry without giving a reason, and we may refuse or return material that turns out to be outside what we are authorised or equipped to handle.
Quotations and buy-back values are indicative
Any figure mentioned on this site or given in initial correspondence — a rate per kilogram or per unit, a buy-back value, a scrap or recovery value, a collection or handling charge — is indicative. It is an estimate based on what you have described to us, and it is not a price list, a standing offer to buy, or a guaranteed rate.
The value actually payable depends on the material actually presented, including its:
- type, model, age and condition;
- completeness — whether components, boards, drives, cells or metals are still present;
- verified weight or count at the point of handover;
- contamination, mixing or hazardous content; and
- prevailing prices for recovered materials, which move independently of us.
Final values are established after inspection and weighing at the point of collection or at our facility, and become binding only once confirmed in writing between us. Where an indicative figure and a written confirmation differ, the written confirmation governs.
Accuracy, changes and availability
We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current or free of error. Company details, registration and authorisation numbers, service areas, accepted material categories and capabilities can change, and a page may lag behind reality.
Where a registration, authorisation or consent number matters to your own compliance position, please ask us for the current certificate rather than relying on what a page says. We will send it.
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, or by a provider outage or an event beyond our reasonable control, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice. The enquiry form depends on a third-party email provider and can fail: if you do not see an on-screen confirmation that your enquiry was sent, please assume it was not received and contact us by telephone or email instead.
Acceptable use
You may use this site for lawful purposes connected with our services. You must not:
- submit false or misleading information, or another person’s personal data without their knowledge;
- use the enquiry form to send unsolicited, bulk or automated submissions of any kind;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system, or probe, scan, overload or otherwise disrupt it;
- introduce any virus, worm or other malicious code, or use the site to distribute one;
- scrape or harvest content, contact details or company information for marketing, resale or database-building; or
- use the site in any way that breaches applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
We may block access to the site where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached, and report serious misuse to the appropriate authorities.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — the text, page structure and layout, graphics and icons, the HCAS Resources name and mark, and the underlying source code — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable law.
You may view the site, and download or print individual pages, for your own internal and non-commercial use in evaluating or engaging our services, provided you do not alter them or remove any notice. Quoting a short extract with attribution and a link back is fine.
Otherwise you may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, sell, licence, adapt or commercially exploit any part of this site, or use our name, mark or branding, without our prior written permission. Nothing on this site grants you any licence or right in our intellectual property beyond what is set out above.
Links to other websites
Where the site links to a third-party website — a regulator, a statute, or a published rule, for example — that link is offered for convenience only. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for it or for any loss arising from your use of it. Your use of a linked site is governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that:
- the site is provided free of charge and for information, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, express or implied, in relation to it;
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, however arising, in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website or your reliance on anything published on it; and
- where liability arising out of your use of this website cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to ten thousand rupees (INR 10,000).
This clause concerns your use of the website only. Liability in relation to collection, transport, data destruction, dismantling or recycling work is dealt with in the separate written agreement covering that work, and this clause neither limits nor extends it.
Privacy
What we do with the details you submit through the enquiry form — and what we deliberately do not do, including setting no cookies and running no analytics — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this address, with the date it was last changed shown at the top of the page. That date is maintained by hand and moves only when the wording changes.
Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the revised terms, so please check the date before relying on anything here. A revision does not alter any separate written agreement already in place between us.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
The courts at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
